Terms of Use (End User Licence Agreement)

Last updated: 4 September 2026

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. StreamX IRL displays live chat from third-party platforms on your screen and in your broadcast. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour of any kind. You must not use StreamX IRL to broadcast, republish or amplify content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, or that targets any person or group. Anyone who does so may have their access to the app terminated without notice. You can block any user and report any message from inside the app at any time; blocked content is removed from your screen and your broadcast immediately, and reports are sent to us at streamxirl@hotmail.com.

1. Agreement

This End User Licence Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and StreamX IRL ("we", "us"). It governs your use of the StreamX IRL application for iOS and Android ("the App"). By tapping Agree & Continue in the App, or by using the App, you accept this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

For the iOS version, this Agreement is between you and StreamX IRL only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Where this Agreement is silent, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies, and this Agreement takes precedence where the two differ.

2. Licence

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on Apple-branded or Android devices that you own or control, as permitted by the usage rules of the store you obtained it from. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, sublicense or resell the App.

3. Acceptable use and community standards

You agree that you will not use the App to:

  • Broadcast, republish, display or amplify content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, harassing, abusive, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, or that promotes self-harm, terrorism or discrimination against any person or group.
  • Harass, abuse, stalk, threaten, impersonate or otherwise harm another person.
  • Broadcast content you do not have the right to broadcast, including copyrighted material.
  • Violate the terms of service or community guidelines of any platform you stream to, including Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Kick, Rumble and Restream.
  • Present the App's practice viewer count or practice chat as real audience data to any platform, sponsor or third party. These features are labelled as simulated and exist for rehearsal and layout only; the App never reports them to any streaming platform.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. We may terminate your licence, refuse support and, where the law requires, report conduct to the relevant platform or authorities.

4. Chat from other platforms: filtering, blocking and reporting

When you enable chat, the App displays messages written by other people on the streaming platform you connect to. Those people are not our users and we do not control what they write. The App gives you the tools to deal with it:

  • Block a user. Tap any message in the Chat Log (Settings › Chat Moderation › Chat Log, or the Chat Log button on the chat panel) and choose Block. Every message from that user is removed from your screen and from your broadcast immediately, including messages already visible, and no further messages from them will be shown. Blocking sends us a notification with the blocked message so we can track abuse.
  • Report a message. Tap any message in the Chat Log and choose Report. The message is removed from your screen and broadcast immediately, and a report containing the username and message is sent to us at streamxirl@hotmail.com. We review every report within 24 hours. Because the platform owns the account, you can also report the user directly to that platform from the same menu.
  • Block words. Settings › Chat Moderation lets you list words or phrases; any message containing one is hidden before it reaches your broadcast.

We act on reports by adding known abusive usernames to the default block list shipped in future versions of the App and by reporting them to the platform concerned.

5. Your broadcasts

You are solely responsible for everything you broadcast using the App, including your own video and audio and any chat you choose to display. Your broadcast goes directly from your device to the platform you select; it does not pass through us and we do not store it.

6. StreamX IRL Pro subscription

StreamX IRL is currently free with no subscription. If StreamX IRL Pro is offered in a future version, it is an auto-renewable monthly subscription billed through the App Store or Google Play. It removes the StreamX IRL watermark and link from your broadcasts and unlocks the practice viewer count and practice chat. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your store account settings. Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy.

7. Maintenance and support

We provide support by email at streamxirl@hotmail.com and at streamxirl.com/support. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.

8. Warranty and liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the App, from interruption of your broadcast, or from the conduct or content of third parties, including chat participants. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty on iOS, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation.

We, not Apple or Google, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer protection or similar claims.

9. Intellectual property

The App, its name, logo and design are our property. Third-party components are used under their own licences, listed in the App under Settings › About. If a third party claims the App infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.

10. Legal compliance

You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must comply with all applicable third-party terms when using the App, including those of the streaming platforms you connect to.

11. Termination

This Agreement continues until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach it, including any breach of section 3. On termination you must stop using and delete the App.

12. Third-party beneficiary

Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement for the iOS version of the App, and on your acceptance Apple has the right to enforce it against you.

13. Changes

We may update this Agreement. Material changes will be posted here with a new date, and the App will ask you to agree again before continuing.
