Getting started
- Open StreamX IRL and tap the key icon.
- Choose your platform and paste the stream key from that platform's dashboard.
- Tap Done, then tap the red button to go live.
Where to find your stream key: Twitch — Creator Dashboard › Settings › Stream. YouTube — YouTube Studio › Go Live › Stream settings. Facebook — Live Producer › Streaming software. Kick — Creator Dashboard › Settings › Stream Key. Rumble — Rumble Studio › Stream settings.
Reporting abusive chat
Open Settings › Chat Moderation › Chat Log and tap any message. You can block the viewer, report them to Twitch, or email a report to us. Blocking also removes that viewer's messages already on your screen and from your broadcast.
To report chat abuse directly, email support@streamxirl.com with the username and message. We respond to reports of abusive content promptly.
Common issues
The stream will not connect
Check the stream key is current — platforms rotate them, and a rotated key fails at connection time. Confirm the destination selected in the app is the platform the key belongs to.
My stream keeps buffering for viewers
Drop the quality. Settings › Quality can be changed while you are live without ending the broadcast. On weak cellular, 720p or 540p is far more watchable than a stuttering 1080p.
My external microphone is not being used
Open Settings and check Current Input. USB-C microphones are selected automatically when plugged in, but if you previously chose the iPhone microphone by hand, that choice is kept until you change it.
The app gets warm on long streams
Expected on multi-hour broadcasts, especially while charging. Lower quality reduces heat. Keep the phone out of direct sun and out of a thick case if you are streaming for hours.
Subscription
StreamX IRL Pro is $3.99 per month, billed by Apple. Manage or cancel it in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions on your iPhone — cancellation is handled by Apple, not by us. To restore a subscription on a new device, open Settings › StreamX IRL Pro › Restore Purchases.
